Readers come to this platform to discover books and authors. Some arrive knowing exactly the title they want; others are browsing, following a genre, a cover, a name they half remember. The directory is how that browsing reaches you. Your inclusion means your name sits alongside the titles you have written, in a catalog built to be searched, browsed and read.
We built this platform around a simple belief: every story deserves to be discovered. Black stories. Independent voices. Bound together. A directory only works if the people in it are presented with care, so a reader meets your work the way you would want it met, and can follow it from a profile to the books themselves.
Your name sits alongside the titles you have written, in a catalog built to be searched, browsed and read.
Being listed is not a static showcase. Featured books, new releases and author spotlights all draw on the same catalog, which means a title in the directory can surface in a reader's search, in a genre collection, or in the new releases a visitor came to browse. The more of your work and your profile that is there, the more ways a reader has to reach it.
What participation involves and what authors receive are details we confirm with each author directly. What is settled is the purpose: connecting readers with Black stories and independent voices through books, author profiles, and this directory. If that is the company you want your work kept in, the route to apply is below.
